# Magic link not arriving

**Email me a magic link** sends an email with the subject **Your Booko sign-in link**. Don't see it? Go through these steps.

## Steps

1. **Wait a moment** – the email usually arrives within a few minutes.
2. **Check your spam** or junk folder, and in Gmail also **Promotions** or **Updates**.
3. **Check the email address** – a sign-in link is only sent to an address that already has a Booko account. You'll see the "link sent" message even for an unknown address; that's intentional, to protect accounts. Use the address you signed up or were invited with.
4. **Don't request too often** – after a few attempts in a row you need to wait. Try again after a minute.
5. **Use only the newest link** – a link works once and expires shortly. Button not working? Copy the link from the email into your browser.

## Another way to sign in

- Sign in with your **Password** on the **Sign In** tab.
- Signed up with Google? Choose **Continue with Google**.

## Security

Never forward your magic link or login codes, not even to Booko support. We will never ask for them in chat. Got a sign-in link you didn't request? You can ignore the email.

## Still stuck?

Nothing after 15 minutes and a new request, not even in spam? Ask for a colleague in the chat and mention the email address you're trying to sign in with.
