Set up two-step verification

With two-step verification you need a code from an authenticator app in addition to your password to sign in. This better protects your books.

Set it up

1. Go to Settings > Account & security.
2. Under Two-step verification, click Manage.
3. Click Set up authenticator.
4. Give your phone a name under Device name and click Generate QR code.
5. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (for example Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy). Can't scan? Enter the manual setup code in your app.
6. Enter the 6-digit code and click Verify and enable.

The status now shows Enabled.

Signing in with two-step verification

After your password you'll see Enter your verification code. Open your authenticator app, enter the latest 6-digit code and click Verify and continue.

Good to know

• Use Manage to add another device or remove one.
• Never share your verification code. Booko support will never ask for a verification code, login code or password in chat.

Still stuck?

• Code not accepted? Make sure your phone sets its time automatically and use the latest code.
• Lost your phone, or a new phone without your authenticator app? You can't sign in yourself. Ask for a colleague in the chat; they will help you further. Don't send codes in the chat.
