Upload failed

A file shows Failed, or you see an error while uploading? It's usually the file itself. Go through these checks.

Check the file

  1. Type: only PDF or images (such as JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, BMP, TIFF). Word, Excel or zip files don't work as invoices.
  2. Size: up to 10 MB per file. On This file is larger than 10 MB., make the file smaller or rescan it at a lower resolution.
  3. Contents: The file contents are not a supported PDF or image. or The file extension or type does not match its contents. usually means the file was renamed or is damaged. Open the document and save it again as a PDF.
  4. Empty file: on This file is empty., choose the original file again.
  5. Blocked: on This file was blocked by the security scan., don't upload the file again. Ask your supplier for a new copy.

Try again

  1. In the upload window, click Retry all to retry failed files.
  2. Still not working? Refresh the page and upload the file again.
  3. Seeing This browser cannot securely check the file for duplicates. Try a current browser.? Update your browser or use a different one.

Good to know

  • Already uploaded means the file is already in Booko. Nothing went wrong.
  • Invoice listed under Costs but processing seems stuck? Use Retry processing if that button is visible.

Still stuck?

Still not working after these steps? Ask for a colleague in the chat. Tell us the message you see, the file type and the size. Don't send the invoice itself in the chat.
